Tasting Notes:

Domaines Charly Nicolle Chablis Premier Cru Les Fourneaux has a hue of lovely straw yellow.

Aromas are intoxicating with floral bouquet with notes of almonds and honey and filled with ripe fruit.

The palate is a festival of flavour: tender and abundant with well balance fruit respecting the terroir and climate.

Vineyard Notes:

Located in Morein, la Cote and Pregirot in Fleys - this vineyard expands over 6 hectares of soil composed of clay and limestone on underlying kimmeridgian.

Vines are planted 8300 per hectare and average between 50 and 60 years old producing 50 hectolitres per hectare

Winemaking:

Domaines Charly Nicolle Chablis Premier Cru Les Fourneaux is fermented (100% malolactic) for 25 days with temperatures controlled between 16 and 18 degrees with natural yeat. The wine is then fined in clay and filtered before bottling.
