Birra Moretti Zero is the alcohol-free version of the well-known Italian lager, a 0% lager brewed in Italy in the same easy European style as the original. Anyone after a lager that tastes like a lager without the alcohol will find this one does the job at the dinner table.
The nose is light and hoppy with a lick of lemon citrus over clean grain. Malt sits front and centre, soft and lightly biscuity, while the hops bring a floral edge and just enough bitterness to tidy up the finish rather than dominate it. Body is light, carbonation is brisk, and it finishes dry and short - balanced instead of sweet, which is where a lot of zero-alcohol beer falls over.
